North Medford Rocket Group Travels to Kennedy Space Center

Ten senior North Medford Students named,"The Rocket Group" attended a three day rocket camp at Kennedy Space Center. The students built, tested,analyzed, and flew rockets as well as toured the NASA Center. Some highlights were meeting Astronaut JD Bartoe, a personal tour and lecture by lead Engineer Shawn Quinn. Shawn gave the students a behind the scene tour of the " Vehicle Assembly Building" and the display of a functional Saturn 5 Rocket. It was a memorable trip!
