Summer Experience 2025

High School Summer Program

This program is for high school students to gain credit in a couple of ways. The first is for current 9th - 12th grade students who failed courses and need credit retrieval. Each school will also offer different elective credits; some past examples have been Art, Culinary Arts, and Metals. Incoming 9th-12th grade students in the MAPS program will have the opportunity to attend. Program location will be determined and may not be located at the student’s regular placement.

When:

Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 12:30 pm

Week 1: June: 16th, 17th, 18th.
Week 2: June 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th
Week 3: June 30th, July 1st, & 2nd
Week 4: July 7th, 8th, 9th

**Closed June 19, July 3 & July 4**

No cost breakfast and lunch

Transportation:

Parents will be responsible for providing transportation for their students.

Career Exploration Classes & RCC College Credits

In partnership with Rogue Community College, Medford School District has expanded opportunities for high school students to earn credits both to make up lost credits as well as earn new credits.

In many cases, students may also earn college credits. Some courses are prerequisites for other Rogue Community College Courses. Some courses will help prepare students for future jobs.

Students who are attending and/or earn at least one credit in one of the morning High School MSD Summer Programs are eligible to take courses offered in the afternoon and/or enroll in Rogue Community College early college courses at no cost.*

*On a case-by-case basis, this requirement can be waived in order for students to participate.
June 4, at 5:30, at North Medford High School, an evening to share information about RCC classes and registration process for summer courses. Parents should attend with their students.

When:

June 16 - July 9, 2025 (closed June 19, July 3 & July 4)

Monday-Thursday in the afternoon (times vary based on course)
