WHAT IS THE ASVAB?
The ASVAB is a test for post-secondary exploration given to high school students, or recent high school graduates. The test is designed to help participants explore different career and academic options by assessing their developed skills and abilities and helping them create a plan. (Click HERE for more information)
The ASVAB CEP is different than the test administered in the military for enlistment purposes. Taking the ASVAB CEP at North Medford High School in no way obligates students for military service.
WHY THE ASVAB?
Knowing who you are and what you are passionate about can make all the difference in your future success.
Before you make decisions about what to do after high school, it is important that you spend time thinking about your interests, values, talents, and abilities. Grades and test scores are only part of the picture. When making career plans, you should have a good understanding of what you do well, think about what you like, what your goals are, and what kind of lifestyle you prefer.
WHEN CAN I TAKE THE ASVAB?
North Medford High School offers the ASVAB Career Exploration test three times a year (during fall, winter, and spring).
The test is open to Juniors and Seniors.
Students can sign up through the Google form emailed to students directly prior to the testing dates. Students can also request the form be sent to them by contacting the Tornado Future Center.
