A career in the trades might be for you if you are looking to jump straight into the workforce, want the opportunity to earn money while learning your trade, and have great opportunities to earn competitive wages without having to earn a four-year degree.
An apprenticeship is an on-the-job training program in which you get paid while learning the trade, on the job. Other trades opportunities only require a two-year degree (or less) or a certificate.
