Rogue Careers Website

The new Rogue Careers website creates online career exploration support for job and career-seekers of all ages: students, their parents, under-employed and/or unemployed adults.

This one-stop site will link to all the region’s career exploration and career learning/on-boarding efforts. It has career planning resources and pages devoted to the region’s target industry sectors. It is up-to-date with the most recent information for regional opportunities, including the most updated, high-wage, and in-demand career employment information.

Regional workforce, education and training partners are also creating new small group in-person and virtual “Career Appetizer” experiences for all job and career-seekers.

Oregon Connections

This platform provides opportunities for students and teachers to engage in live “Industry Chats” with business employers from across the nation, facilitated in a safe online platform by a professional support team. Several local businesses such as Quantum Innovation and Valley Immediate Care have already done chats, and they’re great! Plus, sessions are recorded and archived for later viewing.

Junior Achievement

  • We inspire and empower young people to own their future economic success.

Since 1950, Junior Achievement of Oregon & SW Washington (JA) has been empowering local students by giving them the knowledge and skills they need to manage their money, plan for their futures, and make smart academic, career, and economic choices.

Delivered by business and community volunteers, our hands-on, age-appropriate programs focus on three key areas: work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.
