Get Started with Career Journey Maps

These Career Journey Maps are informative PDFs intended to provide information and spark conversation between practitioner, student, and/or families. Each journey map provides example jobs, example general job specifications, example job descriptions, suggested development, links to additional resources, and next steps for each area of interest.

The maps are not an extensive collection of all the possible jobs, classes, or skills available in each cluster but an opportunity to explore. Click on English/Spanish links below to view ALL Career Journey Maps.

Rogue Careers Website

The new Rogue Careers website creates online career exploration support for job and career-seekers of all ages: students, their parents, under-employed and/or unemployed adults.

This one-stop site will link to all the region’s career exploration and career learning/onboarding efforts. It has career planning resources and pages devoted to the region’s target industry sectors. It is up-to-date with the most recent information for regional opportunities, including the most updated, high-wage, and in-demand career employment information.

Regional workforce, education, and training partners are also creating new small group in-person and virtual “Career Appetizer” experiences for all job and career-seekers.

Oregon Connections

This platform provides opportunities for students and teachers to engage in live “Industry Chats” with business employers from across the nation, facilitated in a safe online platform by a professional support team. Several local businesses, such as Quantum Innovation and Valley Immediate Care, have already done chats, and they’re great! Plus, sessions are recorded and archived for later viewing.
